Performance at Frogner/Vigeland Park, Oslo in June 2021 for “What is the Future if We Don’t Include the Past?” curated by Collective Oslo
A 12 person parade featuring signs with scrambled text which gradually was ordered correctly to cite the quote of philosopher, George Santayana, “Those who Forget the Past are Condemned to Repeat it”.
“Mirage” dealt with the dilution of situated knowledge due to the rise of fake news and emergence conspiracy theory inspired protest groups. In addition, the performance related to the historical context of Vigeland Park which has links with the Nazi occupation of Norway during World War 2.
